PPE and Safety Equipment Suppliers by Location

We connect buyers with PPE and safety equipment suppliers in all nine provinces of South Africa. Choose your province or city to request a quote from a supplier who delivers in your area.

Gauteng

Gauteng is South Africa's economic engine. Johannesburg, Pretoria and the East and West Rand host head offices, factories, distribution centres and an endless pipeline of construction projects, and the gold mining belt still runs along the Witwatersrand. That mix makes Gauteng the largest market for PPE in the country, with demand from small contractors to multinational manufacturers.

Western Cape

The Western Cape combines a busy port and manufacturing base in Cape Town with one of the country's biggest agricultural and agri-processing regions. Wine farms, fruit packhouses and fishing harbours sit alongside shipyards, construction sites and a large hospitality sector. Employers here buy everything from food-grade gumboots and gloves to hi-vis clothing and harnesses.

KwaZulu-Natal

KwaZulu-Natal handles a large share of South Africa's imports and exports through the ports of Durban and Richards Bay. The province also has major sugar cane, timber and chemical industries, aluminium smelting and a dense network of logistics parks along the N3 corridor. That creates steady demand for PPE in ports, warehouses, plants and plantations.

Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape is the heart of South Africa's automotive industry, with vehicle and component plants around Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and East London. The deep-water Port of Ngqura and the Coega industrial zone add logistics and heavy manufacturing, while agriculture and forestry dominate inland. PPE buyers here range from assembly lines to farms.

Free State

The Free State is a major grain and livestock producer, with gold mines around Welkom and the Sasol chemical complex at Sasolburg. Bloemfontein serves as the provincial capital and judicial centre, with a growing services and logistics sector. Farms, mines and petrochemical plants all need dependable PPE supply.

Limpopo

Limpopo is rich in platinum, coal, diamonds and other minerals, and is a leading producer of fruit, vegetables and timber. Polokwane is the commercial hub, with mining activity around Mokopane, Steelpoort and Lephalale, where the Medupi power station is located. Mines, farms and energy projects drive demand for PPE across the province.

Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga produces most of South Africa's coal and electricity, with collieries and power stations around eMalahleni (Witbank) and Middelburg. Secunda hosts a large synthetic fuels complex, while the Lowveld around Mbombela (Nelspruit) is known for citrus, timber and tourism. Coal mines, power plants and plantations all require PPE in volume.

North West

North West sits on the world's richest platinum deposits, with large mining operations around Rustenburg and Brits, and gold mining near Klerksdorp. Agriculture is also important, from maize to cattle, and the province has a growing tourism sector around Sun City and the Pilanesberg. Mines and their contractors are the biggest PPE buyers here.

Northern Cape

The Northern Cape is South Africa's largest province by area. It produces iron ore, manganese and diamonds, and the export railway to Saldanha starts here. Large solar and wind farms have been built across the Karoo, and irrigated farms along the Orange River grow grapes and other crops. Long distances make reliable PPE delivery especially important.
